 The club meets every Thursday evening

between 19:00 and 21:00 at

Cumnor Old School

Closed throughout August & the last two weeks in December.

 open approximately 46 evenings a year

 Club Fees

For new visitors the first session is free

Option 1. Annual fee of £55 payable in January 2010

 Option 2. Each visit £2.50

(same family members only pay £55 or £2.50 per family, not £55 or £2.50 each)

Visitors from other Oxon League clubs 50p

For those joining during the year and wishing to pay annually; the fee reduces as follows:

November £5.50

The club hosts three in-house annual tournaments for it's advanced, intermediate, and junior players. The matches in each tournament are played throughout the year at the convenience of the players. Trophies are awarded to the winner, runner-up and third place in all three tournaments.

Cumnor Chess Club is a member of the Oxford Chess Association and plays in the OCA League. The 09/10 season starts in October 09 and ends in April 10.

Cumnor has two teams in the 09/10 OCA league, which consists of four divisions.  Cumnor 1 competes in Division 3 and Cumnor 2 competes in Division 4.
